Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive – Merchandising to support the Merchandising team by managing, analyzing, and reporting business data. The ideal candidate should possess strong Excel skills, excellent analytical abilities, and experience in handling large datasets while creating meaningful reports and dashboards for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for the Merchandising department.
- Handle, clean, validate, and analyze large volumes of merchandising, inventory, sales, and procurement data.
- Consolidate data received from multiple departments and ensure accuracy.
- Develop dashboards and management reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Automate recurring reports using Excel Macros and advanced Excel functions.




- Monitor key merchandising KPIs such as sales, inventory movement, stock availability, product performance, and replenishment.
- Identify data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Interpret and optimize Excel reports prepared by different departments.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams for accurate reporting.
- Generate customized reports and analytical insights to support management decisions.
- Continuously improve reporting efficiency through automation and process enhancements.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, Conditional Formatting, Macros/VBA).
- Solid ability to handle and analyze large datasets.
- Expertise in data cleaning and transformation across multiple formats.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and reporting requirements simultaneously.
- Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
- Knowledge of Python (Pandas/NumPy) will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and rectify errors in Excel reports and databases.

Experience & Education

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in MIS
- Experience working on live reporting projects and dashboards is preferred.
