Skincare formulation and Production Coordinator We’re looking for a Formulation and Production Coordinator to join our team, someone who shares our dedication to crafting exceptional products while fostering a positive, solution-driven environment.

Job Overview

As the Coordinator in Formulation, you’ll play a key role in driving the development and refinement of cutting-edge formulations for our skin care, and Hair care product lines. You’ll work closely with the R&D; team, cross-functional departments, and external partners to bring innovative, safe, and market-ready products to life. This role combines hands-on formulation expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects align with timelines, quality standards, and our company’s vision.

Work to scale-up with contract manufacturers – pilot batches, trial runs, first commercial batches including troubleshoot scale-up challenges related to rheology changes, sensory drift, yield loss and stability failures.

• Regulatory, Safety & Compliance: ensure all formulations comply with Indian Cosmetics Rules (CDSCO), global regulations (ASEAN / EU / US where applicable); work closely with regulatory teams on ingredient approvals, safety & toxicology inputs, claim substantiation support; anticipate regulatory risks early to avoid launch delays.

Responsibilities

✔Conduct research to identify new ingredients, technologies,



and trends that enhance product performance and appeal.

✔Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure formulations meet regulatory, safety, and customer requirements.

✔Oversee product stability testing, troubleshoot formulation challenges, and optimize for scalability.

✔Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, processes, and trials for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

✔Proficiency in formulating skin care and Hair care products.

✔Strong knowledge of raw materials, emulsification techniques, and cosmetic chemistry principles.

✔Experience with laboratory equipment (e.g., mixers, pH meters, viscometers) and stability testing protocols.

✔Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, GMP).

✔Creative problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

✔Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.

✔Adaptability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.

✔A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for wellness and beauty.

Education/Certifications:

✔Bachelor’s degree in Pharma, Cosmetic Science, Ayurveda

Preferred Experience:

✔1 years of hands-on experience in R&D; formulation, ideally within the skin care industry.

Salary based on Experience varies from 25k to 45k.
