Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally, bookkeeping, and compliance-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
- Record financial transactions in Tally Prime.
- Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Handle GST calculations, reconciliation, return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), and compliance.
- Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure timely deductions and payments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, and government authorities whenever required.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial reports for management.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.




- Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and other financial obligations.
- Support payroll accounting and salary-related entries, if required.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
- Understanding of accounting principles and taxation
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- M.Com or relevant accounting certification is an added advantage.

Experience

- 1+ years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
- Experience in GST filing, TDS filing, Tally Prime, and financial accounting is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate

- Strong understanding of Indian taxation and accounting standards.
- Ability to handle complete accounting independently.
- Honest, responsible, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
