Job Title Mechanical Engineer Location GCC Middle East Industry Construction MEP Industrial Oil Gas Employment Type Full-Time Employer Reputed Company Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning supervising and executing mechanical works to ensure compliance with project specifications quality standards safety regulations and project timelines The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams and hands-on engineering support Key Responsibilities Supervise mechanical installation works including HVAC piping pumps firefighting plumbing and equipment installation as applicable Review and interpret mechanical drawings specifications and BOQs Coordinate with consultants clients and subcontractors for approvals and execution Monitor site progress manpower and materials to meet project schedules Ensure quality control through inspections and adherence to standards Assist in testing commissioning and handover of mechanical systems Prepare technical reports method statements and progress documentation Ensure compliance with safety procedures and permit-to-work systems Requirements Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional certification or membership is an advantage Experience Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience depending on project Experience in construction MEP industrial plants or oil gas projects preferred GCC experience is an advantage Benefits Skills Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Proficient in MS Office AutoCAD Rev-it knowledge is an advantage Strong coordination communication and problem-solving skills Benefits Market-competitive salary package Accommodation transportation if applicable Medical insurance annual leave as per labor law Career growth opportunities
