ELECTRICAL DRAUGHTSMAN Location Thiruvananthapuram Kerala Adrak Engineering Construction India Pvt Ltd About the Role We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draftsman to join our Trivandrum back-office engineering team supporting our Oman-based construction projects The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical drafting in building construction and be proficient in preparing detailed technical drawings coordination layouts and documentation for site execution Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical drawings layouts and technical documentation for building projects as per project and client standards Develop Single Line Diagrams SLD cable routing layouts lighting layouts power layouts earthing layouts and electrical schematics Coordinate with design and engineering teams to incorporate updates clarifications and changes into drawings Ensure compliance with international and local electrical codes standards and regulations Maintain and update drawing registers revision logs and document controls Prepare shop drawings as-built drawings and approval submissions Work closely with engineers and project teams based in Oman to ensure project accuracy and timely deliverables Review and interpret architectural structural and service drawings for coordination Support tender submission packages by developing quantity take-offs and drawing sets Skills Requirements Diploma ITI in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in building construction projects Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software knowledge of BIM Revit is an added advantage Good understanding of MEP coordination electrical services and construction detailing Ability to interpret engineering calculations data sheets and design inputs into drawings Strong attention to detail accuracy and ability to produce high-quality drawings under deadlines Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams Preferred Experience working with Middle East construction standards especially Oman GCC Exposure to commercial residential industrial or infrastructure projects Job Type Full time Pay From 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
