Fitter Job Title Fitter Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team The Fitter will be responsible for assembling fitting and fabricating components to construct mechanical systems structures and machinery The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints using a variety of tools and ensuring all assemblies are built to precise specifications and quality standards Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering blueprints technical drawings and specifications to determine layout and assembly procedures Measure cut shape and fit metal components using tools such as grinding machines saws and measuring instruments Assemble and install mechanical parts components and systems according to plan Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards Perform maintenance and repair on existing mechanical systems as needed Collaborate with welders engineers and other team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies ensuring a safe working environment Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Proven experience as a Fitter or a similar role Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Solid knowledge of mechanical components tools and assembly processes Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality Education High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a vocational or technical training program in fitting metal fabrication or a related field is a plus LIECL is an equal opportunity employer We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees Job Type Full time Pay 8 000 00 - 10 000 00 per month
