Job Summary 11 Requires the Knowledge of computer numerically controlled or CNC programs to be used for automating machinists 2 Creates instructions for machinists 3 Reviews 3D CAD design blueprints 4 Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut 5 Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing CAM program 6 Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests 7 Prepares geometric layout of designs using proper software 8 Determines sequence of operations in a program 9 Chooses cutting tools that will be needed 10 Write low level complexity CNC milling and turning programs that execute successfully efficiently and safely 11 Read code in programs and make alterations to existing programs 12 Explain why any line of code that the Programmer has written is necessary and what would happen if it is eliminated 13 Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs 14 Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes 15 Analyze the behavior of code to diagnose a problem and find the underlying cause Qualifications and Skills 1 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 2 Auto Cad Pro -E 3 Knowledge of CNC Programming Job Type Full time Pay 22 000 00 - 48 525 00 per month Work Location In person
