What you ll do This position will be based in Eaton s Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence GSC CoE in Pune The person in this position will be responsible to execute Complex and critical Projects spanning across multiple Categories multiple sites business ledgers suppliers directly impacting the organizational goal achievement in resiliency cost out and revenue protection This role will also play a crucial role in Process Standardization leading to Smoother project executions and implementations and will oversee the portfolio level process compliance management and reporting Project Management Program Management Develop plan monitor and execute direct material cost out projects with cross functional team involvement and team size of 10 senior members Report to senior leadership on the project Progress escalations roadblocks feedback on regular basis Should lead and manage the projects with Phase Gate arrangement with DGC members as Senior leaders in the organization - Directors VP President Establish maintain a strong knowledge management database which can be leveraged for Sourcing decisions Support new projects in program management through data analysis coordinating user technical reviews request for proposal process with external suppliers APQP and gate reviews Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely value capture in Cost Out Database CODB tool Support teams with project management tools and techniques Give proactive alerts to project team members Escalation POCs and senior leaders for Critical Paths and risk mitigation to avoid roadblocks on the projects Participate in risks assessment and risk management along with the project teams comprising global SCM leaders and commodity managers Lead governance meetings with internal external stakeholders to ensure compliance to SLAs enhance customer satisfaction Ensure projects meet their financial operational goals KPIs viz cost out cost avoidance productivity gain and on time accurate deliveries Manage the supplier quality interface APQP to ensure that PPAP requirements are understood and met including assisting in issue resolution for components identified as high risk Interface with suppliers product engineering and the Eaton plant to drive on-time project completion Work projects through ramp up and successful launch Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers adhere to Eaton s Code of Conduct Technical Competencies Service Delivery Requirements - Bachelor s degree in Engineering preferably Electrical and Electronics Engineering equivalent Minimum 8-12 years experience in manufacturing or into Supply chain with core end to end project management experience Project management certification mandatory Previous experience in managing projects with Phase Gate methodology DGCs with senior leadership involvement Comfortable in communicating and reporting to the senior leadership within the organization on the Project progress review roadblocks feedback on regular basis Strong knowledge of MS Office tools Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Project Ability to communicate clearly effectively in person via e-mail and over phone Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics Strong project and time management organizational and analytical skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization from associates to the leadership team Quick response to deadlines Reporting and Analytics - Should have good experience on data analysis report preparation and presentation to project team Qualifications Masters Bachelor s Degree from an accredited institution 08-12 years of working experience in manufacturing industries similar industry will be required where there has been exposure to Project Management in Supply Chain Skills 1 Project Management 2 Excellent Business Communication - Verbal Written 3 PMP Certification Mandatory 4 Supply Chain Sourcing understanding 5 Ability to manage end-to-end projects leading to improvements in KPIs 6 Escalation Management 7 ERP knowledge working of ERP s like SAP Oracle 8 Exposure to Dual source Multi source projects 9 Interpersonal skills - Able to work in a global environment and with stakeholders located in different regions of the world 10 Excellent Eye for detail The person needs to have the observatory skills to identify the problem in the most accurate manner and articulate the observations 11 Executive Presence - Should have strong leadership communication skills and ability to Influence stakeholders 12 High Learning Agility 13 Solution mindset creative and valuable at relationship management 14 Prior experience managing projects in a large multi-country organization with virtual teams 15 Effective collaboration - Works collaboratively with others to meet shared goals 16 Analyzing problem solving is innovative 17 Mentoring and coaching - Ability to drive others to achieve results coaching if required
