Job Requirements Lead engineering work force of 10 direct and in-direct especially in Mechanical Engineering work streams like concept design 3D modeling and product definition for Wind Turbine Be the technical SPOC for Wind Turbine recent product development projects Creation and maturation of design concepts and specifications by applying design for X principles following internal guidelines rules and applicable technical standards Execute design reviews with stakeholders and balance important requirements such as quality cost manufacturability serviceability and EHS Deliver comprehensive design documentation and specifications such as CAD D-FMEA Design Risk Assessment etc Interact with customers right from quotation phase and align on project estimation timelines technical clarifications final deliverables Lead team at Quest global while taking ownership of hiring onboarding training technical mentoring team technical deliverables Collaborate with various teams including functional owners internal or external manufacturing teams procurement logistics of customer organization to fulfill the design requirements Generate 3D models and 2D drawings for sheet metal components and assemblies using SIEMENS NX Create a bill of materials and perform other PLM activities to initiate the workflow Guide junior engineers and mentor for deliverables including technical review of each delivery Work Experience Graduate post graduate in Mechanical Engineering or allied with 10-15 Yrs Of experience preferably Wind Turbine domain Successful track record of project management NPD and or sustenance projects Hands on experience in concept design product definition using SIEMENS NX CATIA is preferred Experience in building both capability and capacity across various skill set is must Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is must Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholders is necessary Working experience in multiple geography including India would be added advantage
