Job Title Logistics Associate Department Supply Chain Operations Job Summary We are looking for a Logistics Associate specializing in import shipments to manage end-to-end international logistics operations and Local shipments The role involves coordinating with freight forwarders customs agents and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant import of goods while maintaining accurate documentation and cost efficiency Key Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor all import shipments from overseas suppliers Liaise with freight forwarders customs brokers and transporters for smooth clearance and delivery Prepare and verify shipping documents commercial invoices packing lists COO BL AWB etc Must have a good understanding of HSN Ensure compliance with customs regulations DGFT guidelines and import export laws Track shipments and provide regular updates to the operations procurement team Handle duty payments import licenses and other regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records of imports landed costs and logistics expenses Resolve issues related to delays demurrage or discrepancies in shipments Support process improvements to reduce lead time and logistics costs Collaborate with finance procurement and warehouse teams for end-to-end coordination Knowledge of Certification required in import Example - BIS WPC etc Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree diploma in Logistics Supply Chain International Business or related field 2 years of experience in import logistics shipping or freight forwarding preferred Knowledge of customs clearance HS codes and import regulations in India Familiarity with incoterms and international trade documentation Strong coordination problem-solving and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Excel ERP and shipment tracking tools Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Advantages Health insurance Work Location In person
