About the Role Katkar Construction is a leading engineering and fabrication company with over 20 years of expertise in delivering turnkey solutions for structural steel heavy fabrication and railway infrastructure We are hiring a Design Engineer to join our growing team The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing fabrication drawings and design documentation for EOT Gantry Cranes Metal moulds for precast concrete products Custom fabrication structures as per client specifications Key Responsibilities Create detailed 2D and 3D design drawings for fabrication using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Understand project requirements and convert them into manufacturing-ready drawings Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and practical Review and revise drawings based on client feedback or site inputs Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety norms in design Qualifications Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in fabrication design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works is a must Robust understanding of mechanical structures load-bearing components and manufacturing processes Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
