Job Summary The Team Lead - AutoCAD Draughtsman CAD Drafter is responsible for leading a team of CAD drafters in producing accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software This role involves overseeing the drafting process ensuring adherence to project requirements and standards and providing guidance and support to team members The Team Lead collaborates closely with project managers engineers architects and other stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of CAD drafters in creating technical drawings plans and diagrams using AutoCAD software Assign tasks and projects to team members based on workload expertise and project requirements Review project specifications design briefs and client requirements to understand project scope and objectives Coordinate with project managers engineers architects and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify project details Provide technical guidance training and mentorship to team members on AutoCAD drafting techniques standards and best practices Review and approve drawings created by team members to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with standards and specifications Monitor project progress track milestones and identify any issues or discrepancies that may impact project timelines or quality Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges optimize workflows and improve efficiency Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project updates provide feedback and address any concerns or issues raised by team members Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by promoting teamwork communication and knowledge sharing among team members Stay updated on industry trends advancements in CAD technology and emerging best practices to enhance team s skills and capabilities Requirements Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Engineering Architecture or related field Proven experience 3 years working as a CAD drafter or AutoCAD technician Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant CAD tools and software applications Strong understanding of technical drawing standards drafting techniques and construction principles Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy Certification in AutoCAD or related CAD software is a plus Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Total work 3 years Preferred AutoCAD 3 years Preferred
