Job Summary The Finance Intern will play a crucial supporting role within the Finance Department assisting with daily accounting tasks financial analysis and general administrative duties This position offers a practical hands-on opportunity to learn about corporate financial operations budgeting and compliance in a professional environment Key Roles and Responsibilities 1 Accounting and Transaction Support Accurately input financial data into the accounting system e g invoices receipts and general journal entries Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable processes including invoice processing proper coding and vendor statement reconciliation Review and process employee expense reports ensuring adherence to company policies Support the team in performing bank and credit card reconciliations with the general ledger 2 Financial Analysis and Reporting Assist the finance team in updating financial models and forecasts for variance analysis e g actual vs budget Gather organize and summarize financial data from various sources for management reports Help prepare charts graphs and summary tables for quarterly and annual financial reviews Execute ad-hoc research and analysis projects as requested by senior finance staff e g cost analysis 3 Doumentation and Compliance Maintain and organize both physical and electronic financial documents and records to ensure ease of retrieval and readiness for audits Assist in documenting and streamlining internal financial policies and procedures Help prepare schedules and gather necessary documentation for internal and external audits Qualifications Required Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field Strong understanding of basic accounting principles e g P L Balance Sheet High proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas pivot tables VLOOKUP Excellent attention to detail solid organizational skills and a proactive attitude Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data Strong verbal and written communication skills Job Type Internship Contract length 3 months Pay 3 000 00 - 5 000 00 per month Application Question s Are you believer of Christ Work Location In person
