Technical Proposal Engineer - WTP ETP STP Position Title Technical Proposal Engineer Executive Department Technical Business Development Location Lucknow Company Watech Greepo Systems Pvt Ltd 1 Job Summary The Technical Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing technically sound and commercially competitive offers proposals BOQs designs and tender documentation for Water Treatment Plants WTP Effluent Treatment Plants ETP and Sewage Treatment Plants STP The role requires strong technical understanding of water wastewater treatment processes engineering design skills cost estimation and coordination with internal teams and clients 2 Key ResponsibilitiesA Technical Proposal Offer Preparation Prepare detailed technical proposals process descriptions design calculations and system sizing for WTP ETP and STP projects Develop P IDs process flow diagrams layouts and basic engineering drawings in coordination with the design team Prepare Bill of Quantities BOQ specifications and equipment lists Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements industry standards and regulatory norms B Costing Estimation Conduct cost estimation for equipment materials civil works installation and O M components Coordinate with procurement for vendor quotations and price finalization Prepare commercial offer sheets with accurate costing and margins C Tendering Documentation Study tender documents specifications drawings and scope of work Prepare and submit tender documents compliance statements and technical queries Ensure timely submission of bids and maintain records of tender submissions D Client Coordination Interact with clients to understand technical requirements Provide clarifications on proposals and participate in technical discussions negotiations Modify proposals based on client feedback and finalize the techno-commercial offer E Internal Coordination Work closely with the design procurement project and sales teams for accurate proposal development Conduct internal review meetings for proposal accuracy and feasibility 3 Required Skills CompetenciesTechnical Skills Strong understanding of water wastewater treatment technologies such as Conventional WTP DM RO systems Aeration systems MBBR SBR MBR Sludge management systems Chemical biological and mechanical treatment processes Ability to prepare PFDs P IDs layout drawings and perform basic engineering Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and engineering calculation tools Analytical Commercial Skills Strong analytical ability for cost estimation and techno-commercial comparisons Knowledge of government private sector tendering procedures Ability to prepare competitive bids with optimal cost and design Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong coordination and time-management skills Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines 4 Qualifications Experience B Tech Diploma in Environmental Engineering Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or related field 2-7 years of experience in proposal making for WTP ETP STP or related environmental engineering projects Experience in EPC O M-based proposals is an added advantage 5 Key Deliverables Accurate and timely submission of technical proposals Competitive and well-structured commercial offers Complete tender dossiers with technical compliance High proposal win-rate supporting business growth Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 16 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Perks Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
