Job Title NC Programmer - VMC Vertical Machining Center Job Summary We are seeking a skilled NC Programmer for Vertical Machining Centers VMCs to develop optimize and maintain machining programs for precision manufacturing The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CNC programming software a solid understanding of machining processes and the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient and accurate part manufacturing Key Responsibilities Create edit and optimize NC CNC programs for VMC machines using CAM software e g Mastercam Delcam NX SolidCAM or similar Read and interpret engineering drawings 2D 3D models GD T and technical specifications Select proper cutting tools fixtures speeds and feeds to achieve optimal machining performance Collaborate with machinists production supervisors and design engineers to ensure manufacturability and accuracy Develop setup sheets tool lists and documentation for machining operations Conduct machining simulations to detect collisions toolpath issues and optimize cycle times Perform first-piece validation troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary program adjustments Ensure adherence to quality standards tolerance requirements and safety procedures Continuously improve machining processes to enhance efficiency reduce scrap and extend tool life Required Skills Qualifications Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Technology Tool Die or related field 5 years of experience in CNC NC programming for VMCs Strong proficiency in CAM software and G-code programming Hands-on understanding of machining operations milling drilling tapping contouring pocketing Knowledge of cutting tools materials steel aluminum alloys and machining parameters Ability to read engineering drawings and 3D models Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Optional Experience with 4th-axis or 5th-axis VMC programming Knowledge of CAD modeling software Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles Experience with high-precision components or mold die machining Employment Type Full-Time On-site Location Navi Mumbai Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 45 000 00 per year Work Location In person
