Location Mumbai On-site Company Binny s Jewellery Private LimitedDepartment Customer Relationship Management Employment Type Full-Time On-Site About the Role The Debt Collection Officer is responsible for overseeing and executing the recovery of outstanding payments from customers in a professional ethical and customer-friendly manner The role ensures timely follow-ups accurate record-keeping and adherence to Binny s policies while maintaining positive customer relationships This position plays a key role in safeguarding the company s cash flow and financial discipline Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of payment promises follow-up actions and customer communication Prepare daily weekly and monthly recovery reports Ensure all paperwork receipts and settlement documents are processed correctly Provide courteous respectful communication ensuring the brand image is never compromised Ensure compliance with company credit policies regulatory norms and customer service standards Work closely with the sales accounts and store teams to verify customer details and purchase histories Support internal audits and financial reconciliation processes Assist management in improving credit control and recovery strategies Qualifications Experience 1 years of experience is plus in debt collection recovery or credit control retail jewellery or finance sector preferred Solid negotiation and persuasion skills Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism Basic knowledge of billing finance systems and legal recovery procedures Good communication skills in English and local languages
