Job Purpose As part of the Data and Technology services practice you will be working with the data analytics and reporting requirements of a US Regional bank as part of Acuity s Center of Excellence model Global technology megatrends regulatory developments competitive landscape and rise of alternative data are changing the way capital markets operate At the Data and Technology services operations we partner with some of the largest financial services firms and corporations in this transformative journey We are looking for professionals who are hands on passionate about the work and have the ambition to drive disruptive changes to global business models Desired Skills and experienceStrong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction transformation and analysis Ability to understand and translate loan servicing business concepts into data models reporting logics and further into automations Solid understanding of data structures across relational databases and cloud platforms Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration Exposure to GCP and SAS is a plus but not mandatory Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders across Consumer and Commercial Lending to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights Retrieve clean and integrate data from diverse databases and platforms to support reporting and analytics Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across all reporting solutions Perform data preparation activities in support of analytics reporting and automation Develop and manage bespoke extract transform load ETL processes Create centralized analytical data marts across various projects to support analysis across multiple business units Perform data transformation using Python and SQL for downstream reporting Support ad-hoc data requests and deep-dive analyses for business and regulatory needs Translate client challenges into actionable business intelligence solutions by partnering with the subject matter experts at the bank Develop reports and automated solutions for oLoan originations and underwriting oCollections and recovery oClient services consumer commercial oDefault management oCharge-off and recovery oLoan modification loss mitigation oProduct performance and asset management oForeclosure trackingExpertise in understanding the technical and functional designs of the databases Require excellent coding skills Understand the logics of various business fields columns and implement them Make modifications to the logics based on user requirements Prepare on demand request on loan datatapes Experience in migrating reports from one platform to another platform Experience of understanding the framework of on-prem database structure and the related tables views Evaluate ongoing automation of underlying manual processes Investigate underlying data sets and derive actionable analytical insights using quantitative techniques Study and research on the domain functionalities to add value to the analytical findings Ensure meticulous documentation of processes meta data query logic and results Perform balance control testing and or other validation activities to ensure accuracy Ensure quality of data analysis and reporting of the overall processes Build valuable rapport and trust with client Key MetricsOver 4-6 years of relevant development experience in SQL and Python Masters Bachelors in Computer Applications Technology Bachelors in Engineering Behavioral CompetenciesEfficiently lead the client calls on a daily basis Be proactive and independent able to work on projects with minimum inputs from senior stakeholders Evaluate and ensure quality of deliverables within defined timelines Prior experience in the financial services domain is highly desirable Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset
