Description ARAI Pune is a premier Automotive Research Institute with the Ministry of Heavy Industries involved in R D Homologation Testing Certification Calibration Skill Development services to Automotive and Allied industries globally We are looking for the following position for our Engineering Design Simulation EDS - Designation Project Specific Research Engineer - Physical Crash Testing ARAI Contract - 1 Nos Location MRC Takwe Pune Work Experience 1- 4 Years The candidate should be Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering from reputed University with First Class Work Experience around 1 - 4 years of experience in automotive industry work experience in auto workshops car assembly lines etc preferred Description of Duties Responsible for preparation of test setup conduct of test and report preparation for testing of different vehicle security highway safety barriers Responsible for impact vehicle preparation including removal of fluids ballast placement etc Responsible for usage and maintenance of mechanical systems viz pulleys vehicle guidance system propulsion wire rope drum assembly etc Support the Assistant Manager Manager in day to day work activities Planning scheduling and executing pre-test test and post-test activities in shifts as required Required Skills Should have good communication skills to deal with customers for testing related discussions Should have basic awareness of quality systems Should have knowledge of MS Office knowledge of programming languages will be an added advantage Preferred to have knowledge of mechanical fixture design using software e g AutoCAD CATIA Unigraphics etc Other Requirements Working in shifts if required Positive track record if already employed Travel to other ARAI facilities for support on need basis This vacancy is on ARAI contract i e on ARAI Payroll for 1 year Last Date of Application 06-Aug-2025 Apply Now
