Job Title Biomedical Engineer Experience Required 3 to 5 Years Location Naruvi Hospital Vellore Tamil Nadu Department Biomedical Engineering About Naruvi Hospital Naruvi Hospital is a state-of-the-art multi-specialty healthcare institution located in Vellore Tamil Nadu Committed to delivering world-class patient care Naruvi is equipped with cutting-edge medical technologies and a patient-centric approach that blends compassion with advanced clinical expertise The hospital is backed by the global legacy of the Henry Ford Health System USA ensuring international standards in medical service and administration Role Summary The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance maintenance and safety of all medical equipment across the hospital The role involves equipment management preventive maintenance troubleshooting and compliance with regulatory standards supporting clinical teams in delivering efficient healthcare services Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment including calibration and testing Maintain comprehensive records of equipment performance service history and compliance Ensure all biomedical devices are functioning in accordance with manufacturer specifications and hospital safety protocols Assist in the installation configuration and commissioning of new equipment Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and warranty claims Train clinical and non-clinical staff on proper usage and basic troubleshooting of equipment Participate in hospital safety and quality audits related to medical devices Monitor equipment lifecycle and support procurement decisions for replacement or upgrades Ensure adherence to NABH ISO and other statutory regulatory requirements related to medical equipment Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in hospital-based biomedical engineering In-depth knowledge of medical equipment such as ventilators monitors infusion pumps imaging systems etc Familiarity with NABH and other healthcare accreditation standards Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and vendors Proficient in using biomedical management software and MS Office tools Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 9 426 52 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Work Location In person
