Senior Accountant - Manufacturing Industry Position Senior Accountant Department Finance Accounts Location Andheri West Qualification B Com M Com CA Inter CMA MBA Finance Role Overview The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations statutory compliance taxation and financial reporting for the manufacturing unit The role requires strong analytical skills knowledge of accounting standards and hands-on experience in GST TDS and audit processes Proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables and ERP systems is essential Key Responsibilities 1 Accounting Financial Operations Prepare and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles Manage general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and month-end closing activities Conduct bank reconciliations vendor reconciliations and customer account reconciliations Monitor and analyze cost accounting inventory transactions and manufacturing expenses 2 Taxation Statutory Compliance Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns TDS returns and other statutory filings Handle statutory audits internal audits and tax audits provide necessary documentation and responses Maintain compliance with Companies Act Income Tax Act GST Act and other regulatory requirements 3 Financial Reporting Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and MIS reports Assist in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis Support management with financial insights for decision-making 4 Process Improvement Streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls Assist in ERP implementation and optimization 5 Advanced Excel ERP Skills Use VLOOKUP Pivot Table HLOOKUP Index-Match and other Excel tools for reporting and data analysis Handle accounting tasks using ERP systems such as SAP Tally Oracle as applicable Required Skills Competencies Robust understanding of manufacturing accounting costing and inventory management In-depth knowledge of GST TDS statutory compliance and audit procedures Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and team coordination abilities Proficiency in MS Excel with advanced formula and data analysis capability Experience with ERP accounting software Job Type Full-time Pay 50 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month
