Position IT Technical Support Trainee Experience Fresher 0-1 Year Department IT Support Helpdesk Location Nungambakkam Role Summary The IT Technical Support Trainee assists users by troubleshooting basic hardware software and network issues The role includes learning and supporting daily IT operations ensuring smooth functioning of desktops laptops and related systems under the guidance of senior IT staff Key Responsibilities 1 User Support Troubleshooting Provide first-level support for desktop systems laptops printers and peripherals Diagnose and resolve common software and hardware issues Install configure and update operating systems and applications Assist users with login email network access and connectivity problems 2 System Setup Maintenance Support new system setup system imaging and basic configuration Perform routine maintenance system updates and antivirus checks Assist in managing IT assets and inventory 3 Network Connectivity Support Monitor basic network connectivity issues LAN Wi-Fi Troubleshoot network printers and shared folder access Report network downtimes to seniors as needed 4 Documentation Reporting Maintain logs of issues solutions and daily tasks Update support tickets in the helpdesk system Document installation procedures and troubleshooting steps 5 Learning Development Learn current technologies company software and support tools Work closely with senior IT technicians to gain hands-on experience Attend training sessions to improve technical and communication skills Required Skills Basic knowledge of Windows OS MS Office and computer hardware Understanding of LAN Wi-Fi and general networking concepts Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues Good communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced IT environment Qualifications Diploma B Sc BCA B Tech in Computer Science IT or related field Freshers are welcome internship experience is an added advantage Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Work Location In person
