Key Responsibilities Installation Installing wiring lighting control systems and other electrical components in compliance with technical diagrams and blueprints Maintenance Performing routine checks and inspections on electrical systems and equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure efficient operation Repair Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues then repairing or replacing faulty wiring fixtures equipment and components Testing Utilizing tools like voltmeters ammeters and thermal scanners to test electrical systems and identify problems Documentation Maintaining accurate records of all installation maintenance and repair work including materials used and details of the servicing completed Safety Compliance Adhering to safety regulations and industry standards as well as state and local building codes Collaboration Coordinating with other contractors team members and project managers to plan work and ensure projects are completed on time Blueprint Interpretation Reading and understanding electrical blueprints schematics and technical diagrams to guide installations and repairs Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and diagrams using hand and power tools and operating testing equipment Knowledge Strong understanding of electrical theory components systems and national electric codes Problem-Solving Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems effectively Communication Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and address customer concerns Attention to Detail Methodical approach and meticulous work habits for precise and safe installations and repairs Physical Fitness Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing and working in confined spaces often required in construction and maintenance Education Training Often requires a diploma or certificate in a relevant electrical field along with an apprenticeship program Job Type Full time Pay 8 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
