About the Role The Quality Engineer will ensure that machine shop-manufactured components meet customer specifications industry standards and internal quality requirements The role focuses on process control defect prevention and continuous improvement across production and inspection operations Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control processes for machined components CNC turning milling etc Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments micrometers CMM calipers gauges Prepare and maintain inspection records quality reports and non-conformance documentation Work closely with production and design teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA Support PPAP FMEA and control plan documentation for new product development Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 IATF 16949 or other relevant quality standards Train operators and inspectors on quality procedures and measurement techniques Collaborate with suppliers to resolve incoming material quality issues Qualifications Skills Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering 2-5 years of experience in a machine shop or precision engineering environment Hands-on knowledge of CNC machining processes and GD T Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing Proficient in using measuring tools and CMM operation programming preferred Familiar with SPC 7 QC Tools Root Cause Analysis and Lean Kaizen methodologies Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Experience machined components CNC turning milling 7 years Preferred Quality Engineer 7 years Preferred Machine Shop Components 7 years Preferred Manufacturing 7 years Preferred SPC 7 QC Tools Root Cause Analysis 7 years Preferred Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing 7 years Preferred micrometers CMM calipers gauges 7 years Preferred Work Location In person
