Job Purpose The RPA Automation Developer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining automation solutions that streamline finance operations reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy The role focuses on leveraging automation tools and technologies to optimize end-to-end finance processes ensure compliance with internal controls and support business efficiency By collaborating with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams the Finance Process Automation Developer will identify automation opportunities translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver sustainable digital processes that enhance overall performance About Group Finance In joining RWS s Finance team you will be a critical part of supporting a listed world-leading provider of technology-enabled language content and intellectual property services RWS has growing revenues of over 750m through a combination of value accretive acquisitions and organic growth Group finance led by our Group CFO Candy Davies includes diverse teams across the globe operating in functions including business partnering operational finance specialist and group functions We cover a footprint of over 100 legal entities in 43 different countries worldwide It s a very exciting time to join RWS Finance for an individual who enjoys change and making an impact As part of the overall RWS business strategy we are making a significant investment in upgrading our financial systems and processes to deliver enhanced reporting and control more efficient processing enabling outstanding value through enhanced business partnering and decision support Job Overview Key Responsibilities Automation Development Design build test and deploy automation solutions using RPA and low-code no-code platforms e g Blue Prism Power Automate Process Optimization Integrate Power Apps with Power Automate to streamline and enhance business processes Workflow Management Maintain and optimize automation workflows for accuracy stability and scalability Requirement Translation Convert business needs into technical specifications and deliver effective solutions Compliance Security Ensure all solutions meet data security regulatory and internal control standards User Enablement Provide documentation training and support to drive adoption of automated processes Issue Resolution Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues efficiently Innovation Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance automation capabilities Decision-Making Apply sound judgment to resolve complex technical challenges Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Finance and related teams to identify and implement automation opportunities Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams across levels and departments Foster strong relationships within the Financial Shared Services Center and beyond Share knowledge and promote best practices Collaborate with IT and Data Analytics teams on data strategy and architecture Provide relevant data insights to stakeholders Data Compliance Integrity Align automation with financial policies regulations and internal controls Complete required compliance training and follow company policies Support audits and maintain documentation to ensure data integrity Quality Assurance Run reports and support testing to improve data quality Validate data during transformation and loading processes Analyze and address root causes of data issues Skills Experience 2-4 years of experience in automation development finance systems support or process improvement roles Proven track record of delivering automation projects that enhance efficiency accuracy or compliance Experience working in dynamic cross-functional environments with shifting priorities Exposure to change management and user adoption strategies for new technologies Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems Information Technology Business Analytics Finance or Accounting Experience with scripting languages e g Python JavaScript Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Regular use of databases and data systems Experience across finance process areas such as Record to Report Procure to Pay and Order to Cash Life at RWS Life at RWS -
