About Maxima Automation Maxima Automation is a rapid-growing industrial automation solutions provider specializing in end-to-end automation controls instrumentation and process optimization We deliver innovative reliable and cost-effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency for our clients across industries Role Overview The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate competitive and technically sound proposals for automation and control system projects This role requires strong technical knowledge commercial understanding and excellent coordination skills to ensure timely and high-quality submissions Key Responsibilities Analyze customer RFQs specifications drawings and tender documents to understand project requirements Develop technical and commercial proposals for PLC SCADA DCS systems instrumentation control panels and turnkey automation projects Prepare BOQs cost estimations system architectures technical write-ups and compliance statements Coordinate with internal teams engineering sourcing project management to gather inputs for proposals Interact with vendors to obtain quotations and technical details Ensure proposals meet customer requirements industry standards and company guidelines Participate in pre-bid meetings technical clarifications and customer discussions Support the sales team in presenting technical solutions to clients Maintain proposal documentation pricing templates and revision histories Work on continuous optimization of proposal processes to improve accuracy and turnaround time Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electrical Electronics Instrumentation Automation Engineering 2-5 years of experience in proposals estimation or design within the automation or industrial controls domain Strong knowledge of PLC SCADA DCS VFDs instrumentation and control panel design Good understanding of industrial processes and automation architectures Proficiency in reading P IDs GA drawings and electrical schematics Excellent analytical costing and documentation skills Strong communication and customer-handling abilities Proficiency in MS Office and proposal tools Preferred Qualifications Experience working with major brands like Honeywell Endress Hauser Etc Exposure to system integration or EPC environments Knowledge of industry standards ISA IEC etc What We Offer Competitive salary and performance incentives Opportunity to work on diverse and innovative automation projects Supportive work culture focused on growth and learning Career progression within a fast-growing automation company Job Type Full-time Pay From 18 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Internet reimbursement Ability to commute relocate Moovarasanpet Madipakkam Moovarasanpet Madipakkam Chennai - 600091 Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location In person Expected Start Date 01 12 2025
