Job Summary We re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to join our team As a Junior Accountant you ll play a key role in maintaining and compiling financial reports and statements ensuring compliance with government regulations You ll work closely with senior accountants to prepare financial statements manage accounts payable and receivable and perform bank reconciliations Key Responsibilities 1 Financial Statement Preparation Assist in preparing financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements 2 Accounts Payable and Receivable Management Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely payments and collections 3 Bank Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies 4 Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in budgeting and forecasting providing financial data and insights to support business decisions 5 Financial Record-Keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including journals ledgers and other accounting documents 6 Accounting Tasks Perform other accounting tasks such as - Journal entries and ledger postings - Account reconciliations - Financial data analysis - Compliance with accounting standards and regulations Additional Responsibilities 1 Assisting Senior Accountants Support senior accountants with financial analysis reporting and other tasks 2 Identifying and Resolving Discrepancies Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions 3 Maintaining Accounting Systems Maintain and update accounting systems ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel Word Outlook and accounting software e g QuickBooks SAP - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and organizational skills Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Work Location In person
