Accountant Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for an individual with 1 year of hands-on experience in general accounting gst filing tds reporting looking to grow their career in a supportive and challenging environment The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the senior accounting staff in day-to-day financial operations maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting standards Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping Record Keeping Maintaining the general ledger performing journal entries and reconciling bank and credit card statements Process and record accounts payable AP and accounts receivable AR transactions accurately and timely Manage and reconcile petty cash and employee expense reports Month-End Year-End Support Working in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports and statements Support the month-end closing procedures ensuring all entries are posted and accounts are reconciled Financial Analysis Reporting Working in budget tracking and variance analysis under the supervision of senior staff Prepare and maintain schedules and analysis for financial audits Compliance Administration Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies Working in the tax computations and filing preparation e g GST VAT payroll tax as needed Organize and maintain financial documents and records both physically and digitally Qualifications Required Skills Experience Experience 1 year of practical experience in an accounting or finance role Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Technical Proficiency Solid working knowledge of MS Excel pivot tables VLOOKUP formulas Familiarity with at least one major accounting software e g QuickBooks SAP Oracle Tally etc Core Competencies Strong understanding of basic accounting principles GAAP or IFRS Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Effective communication skills both written and verbal Preferred but not required Progress toward a professional certification e g CPA ACCA CMA Experience in the Insert your industry e g Retail Tech Manufacturing industry Why Join Us Growth Structured career path and opportunities for professional development and mentorship Culture A collaborative inclusive and supportive team workplace Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 20 000 00 - 27 000 00 per month Work Location In person
