Rubber and Chemical Testing Engineer Laboratory Analyst Department Quality Assurance R D Laboratory Location Binola Gurugram We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of rubber material testing and chemical analysis as per relevant national and international standards The ideal candidate should be capable of conducting physical mechanical and chemical tests on raw materials compounds and finished rubber products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications Key Responsibilities Perform rubber testing as per ASTM ISO or BIS standards e g hardness tensile strength elongation compression set specific gravity aging tear strength etc Conduct chemical analysis of rubber and related materials e g ash content moisture volatile matter carbon black content polymer identification filler content etc Prepare and maintain test records reports and calibration data as per laboratory standards Operate and maintain and knowledge of laboratory instruments such as UTM Mooney viscometer MDR ODR Rheometer Density tester Shore hardness tester FTIR TGA TG Support compound development and validation by providing accurate and timely test results Ensure adherence to standard testing procedures STPs and safety guidelines Coordinate with production quality and R D teams for root cause analysis andmaterial validation Assist in developing new testing methods and maintaining laboratory efficiency Maintain proper documentation labeling and storage of test samples and chemicals Qualifications Experience Education B Sc PCM Diploma Polymer Science Material Science or Diploma B Tech in Rubber Technology Diploma in Chemical Engineering Experience 2-5 years for Engineer Analyst in a rubber or polymer testing laboratory Knowledge of Standards ASTM D ISO 37 ISO 34 ISO 48 IS 3400 series BIS and other relevant testing standards Software Skills MS Excel or other lab data systems preferred Key Skills In-depth understanding of rubber compound behavior and testing procedures Knowledge of chemical composition analysis and polymer characterization Strong analytical and documentation skills Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments Attention to detail problem-solving ability and teamwork orientation Additional Requirements Ability to interpret test data and correlate with compound performance Good communication skills to present findings and test reports Awareness of ISO 9001 IATF -16949 ISO quality systems Commitment to laboratory safety and continuous improvement Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
