Google Apps Script Developer Automation Engineer We are a growing organization team that uses Google Workspace heavily We ve built several internal tools and automations using Google Sheets and Apps Script and we re now looking for a dedicated in-house developer to improve expand and maintain these systems Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scripts in Google Apps Script to automate processes across Sheets Docs Gmail and Drive Optimize and refactor existing scripts for speed reliability and scalability Design dashboards forms and simple web interfaces using HTML CSS JavaScript within Apps Script Integrate Google Workspace tools with external platforms using APIs REST JSON Document code workflows and data structures clearly for non-technical team members Provide basic technical support and training for staff using these tools Manage version control GitHub or similar for scripts and projects Required Skills Strong experience with Google Apps Script client-side and server-side Solid understanding of JavaScript ES6 Experience working with Google Workspace APIs Sheets Drive Gmail Forms Calendar Ability to design and debug structured spreadsheet-based data systems Robust documentation and communication skills you ll be working closely with non-coders Nice to Have Experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP services Cloud Functions BigQuery etc Knowledge of APIs OAuth and webhooks Experience creating custom UIs Web Apps within Apps Script Familiarity with project management tools Asana Trello ClickUp etc Background in data automation or low-code development What We Offer Opportunity to build real-world automation systems from the ground up Freedom to introduce new technologies and frameworks Supportive non-technical team that values your expertise We can ask candidates to 1 Show a previous Google Apps Script project GitHub screenshots or demo link 2 Explain how they debug or structure large scripts 3 Write or explain a simple example e g How would you send daily email summaries of new Google Sheet rows Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Internship Contract length 2 months Pay Up to 10 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Work Location In person
