Job ID 092025 03 Work Experience 3 years Job Type Full Time Job Location Kochi Kerala Base Salary As per Industry Standards We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator DBA with proven expertise in managing securing and optimizing enterprise database systems This role combines strong technical knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server with the ability to ensure high availability data integrity and performance for mission-critical systems in the telecom IT networking and AI domains Responsibilities Administer configure and maintain Oracle Microsoft SQL Server and other database environments Ensure database performance availability and reliability through proactive monitoring and tuning Implement robust backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies conduct regular DR drills Design implement and maintain database security including access control roles and compliance with organizational policies Support schema design stored procedures triggers and indexing in collaboration with development teams Manage database migrations patching and upgrades across hybrid on-premises and cloud AWS Azure GCP Troubleshoot issues identify bottlenecks and optimize queries for improved system performance Automate routine DBA tasks through scripts and tools to improve efficiency Document SOPs runbooks and troubleshooting guidelines for database operations Eligibility Criteria Bachelor s Master s degree in Computer Science IT or related field 3 years of skilled experience as a Database Administrator Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database administration tuning backup and recovery Strong understanding of database security high availability HA and clustering RAC AlwaysOn Data Guard Hands-on experience with cloud-based database services AWS RDS Azure SQL GCP Cloud SQL Proficiency in SQL PL SQL and performance optimization techniques Nice to Have Experience with PostgreSQL MySQL or NoSQL databases MongoDB Cassandra Exposure to big data ecosystems Hadoop Spark Databricks Knowledge of automation tools Ansible Terraform and CI CD pipelines for database deployments Familiarity with database monitoring tools SolarWinds Nagios OEM Professional certifications such as Oracle OCP Microsoft Certified Database Administrator or AWS Azure DBA certifications What We Look For A passion for database technologies and system reliability Ownership mindset with the ability to manage complex environments independently Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest database and cloud innovations Strong focus on performance data security and business continuity Willingness to collaborate across teams share knowledge and contribute to organizational growth
