This role is for one of the Weekday s clients Min Experience 7 years Location India JobType full-time We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer with a strong background in React to join our growing engineering team In this role you will take ownership of building high-performance scalable and user-friendly applications that deliver exceptional user experiences As a senior member of the team you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing frontend solutions mentoring junior developers and ensuring that best practices in coding testing and performance optimization are followed This role is ideal for someone who has deep expertise in React js a passion for frontend engineering and proven experience in leading projects from concept to delivery Requirements Key Responsibilities Frontend Development Design develop and maintain complex high-quality web applications using React js and modern JavaScript TypeScript frameworks Architecture Design Contribute to application architecture discussions and ensure scalable modular and maintainable code structures Performance Optimization Implement performance improvements responsive design and cross-browser compatibility to deliver seamless user experiences Collaboration Work closely with product managers UX UI designers and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions Mentorship Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers conduct code reviews and promote best coding practices Testing Quality Implement automated testing strategies unit integration end-to-end to maintain high-quality bug-free releases Continuous Improvement Stay updated with emerging frontend trends frameworks and tools recommend and integrate them where relevant Agile Practices Participate in sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives contributing to a collaborative and productive development process Required Skills Qualifications Experience 7-11 years of professional software development experience with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in React js Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6 TypeScript HTML5 and CSS3 Expertise in state management libraries such as Redux Context API or MobX Strong understanding of component-based architecture React hooks and reusable UI patterns Familiarity with frontend build pipelines and tools Webpack Babel Vite etc Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL services Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest React Testing Library Cypress or Enzyme Good understanding of version control Git and CI CD workflows Excellent communication leadership and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced product-based or startup environment Exposure to server-side rendering Next js and performance optimization at scale Knowledge of frontend security best practices XSS CSRF etc Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP and modern DevOps practices
