Key Responsibilities Lead mentor and manage the technical team responsible for data center operations Oversee Wintel environments including server installation configuration and maintenance Design implement and manage virtualization solutions e g VMware Hyper-V Administer and optimize backup processes using Veritas tools Manage and maintain EMC storage systems ensuring productive and reliable data management Provide basic support and understanding of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data center strategies Ensure adherence to security standards compliance policies and best practices Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field 10 years of experience in data center operations or a related domain Strong expertise in Wintel environments and virtualization technologies Proficiency in Veritas backup tools and EMC storage solutions Basic working knowledge of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure Proven leadership and team management experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills Relevant certifications e g VMware Veritas EMC Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid environments Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks
