Position CIVIL SITE ENGINEER Department Projects Construction Reports To Project Manager Senior Engineer HEAD OFFICE BANGALORE WORK LOCATION GURUVAYUR KERALA BANGALORE SEND YOUR CV hr chrisgroup in (phone hidden) NOTE ACCOMODATION IS PROVIDED BY THE COMPANY Role Overview The Site Engineer is responsible for managing executing and supervising construction activities on-site to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and in compliance with quality and safety standards This role requires close coordination with project managers contractors consultants and labor teams to ensure smooth site operations Key Responsibilities Project Execution Supervision Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure work is executed as per drawings specifications and quality standards Monitor progress against the project schedule and report delays or issues Ensure proper utilization of manpower materials and equipment Quality Control Conduct inspections and quality checks of materials and workmanship Ensure adherence to design specifications codes and safety regulations Address non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions Coordination Communication Liaise with architects consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of materials Maintain clear communication between project management and site teams Documentation Reporting Prepare daily weekly site progress reports and submit to project management Maintain site records including drawings work permits inspection reports and labor attendance Assist in preparing BOQs measurements and bills Health Safety Environment HSE Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at the site Monitor workers safety and implement preventive measures to avoid accidents Conduct regular safety toolbox talks with site teams Qualifications Skills Education Civil Engineering Experience 2-5 years of relevant site experience in construction infrastructure projects Technical Skills Knowledge of construction methods materials and legal regulations Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Project Primavera added advantage Soft Skills Strong leadership and team management skills Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Positive communication and reporting skills Key Performance Indicators KPIs Timely completion of assigned site tasks Quality of work execution and compliance with standards Adherence to project timelines and budget Effective coordination with project stakeholders Safety compliance and accident-free site record Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Work Location In person
