Career Area Technology Digital and Data Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc When you join Caterpillar you re joining a global team who cares not just about the work we do - but also about each other We are the makers problem solvers and future world builders who are creating stronger more sustainable communities We don t just talk about progress and innovation here - we make it happen with our customers where we work and live Together we are building a better world so we can all enjoy living in it Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead with deep expertise in NET technologies to lead the design development and delivery of enterprise-grade applications This role will be responsible for driving technical strategy mentoring development teams and ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives The Technical Lead will play a key role in integrating NET solutions with platforms such as Dynamics 365 Azure Services and other enterprise systems while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement The Technical Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects business analysts and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and align with technical standards Primary Responsibilities Lead end-to-end technical delivery of NET-based solutions ensuring scalability performance and maintainability Define and enforce coding standards architectural guidelines and best practices across development teams Collaborate with enterprise architects product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical designs Guide the integration of NET applications with Dynamics 365 Azure Functions and other enterprise platforms Mentor and coach developers conduct code reviews and support skill development across the team Drive DevOps practices including CI CD pipeline setup automated testing and deployment strategies Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic solutions to improve system reliability and performance Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across teams Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in NET development with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role Expertise in C ASP NET Core Entity Framework and RESTful API development Solid experience with Azure services including Azure Functions and Azure Web Jobs Logic Apps Azure DevOps and cloud-native design Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex software projects on time and within scope Deep understanding of software architecture design patterns and enterprise integration strategies Experience with SQL Server and performance optimization of database queries Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality scalability and continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating NET applications with Dynamics 365 or other ERP CRM platforms Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React Experience with microservices architecture and containerization Docker Kubernetes Knowledge of enterprise DevOps practices and CI CD pipelines Experience in manufacturing or dealer network domains is a plus Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform tools Power BI Power Automate Posting Dates September 22 2025 - September 29 2025 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer Qualified applicants of any age are encouraged to apply Not ready to apply Join our Talent Community
