Job Title Health Informatics Trainer Remote Department Health IT Training Clinical Education Employment Type Freelance Location Remote Job Summary We are looking for a Freelance Health Informatics Trainer to deliver remote training and support for healthcare professionals on Electronic Health Record EHR systems and other health IT tools This role includes conducting virtual sessions creating digital learning materials and supporting EHR implementations and upgrades The ideal candidate has a robust background in health informatics clinical workflows and adult education Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual training sessions for clinical and administrative staff on EHR EMR systems e g Epic Cerner MEDITECH Develop digital training materials video tutorials webinars quick-reference guides and e-learning modules Support system go-lives upgrades and workflow changes with onboarding and follow-up training Customize training based on user roles feedback and system updates Collaborate with IT teams clinical leaders and project managers to align training with workflows and standards Provide post-training support troubleshoot user issues and offer refresher sessions Track attendance evaluate learning outcomes and report training results Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Health Informatics Health Information Management Nursing Education or related field Experience training clinical or administrative users on EHR systems in a healthcare setting Strong communication and presentation skills in a remote virtual environment Proficient in using remote training tools Zoom MS Teams Webex and e-learning platforms Articulate Moodle Canva etc Ability to manage multiple freelance assignments independently Preferred Qualifications EHR vendor certification e g Epic Credentialed Trainer Cerner Certified Clinical background e g RN LPN Allied Health is a plus Experience with remote troubleshooting or helpdesk support Knowledge of HIPAA HITECH and healthcare data privacy standards Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design Job Type Freelance Work Location Remote
