Job Title Quantity SurveyorDepartment Construction ProjectsReports To Project Manager Senior ManagementJob Summary The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects from the initial calculations to the final figures The role involves ensuring project costs are minimized value for money is achieved and financial risks are managed effectively while maintaining the required standards and quality Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities BOQ for construction projects Conduct feasibility studies cost analysis and risk assessments Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle Manage subcontractor quotations contracts and payment certifications Evaluate tenders and provide recommendations for awarding contracts Ensure compliance with legal contractual and company policies Prepare interim valuations variation claims and final accounts Work closely with project managers engineers architects and clients to ensure accurate financial management Prepare regular cost reports and advise management on cost overruns and savings Support procurement activities including sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers Qualifications Skills Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Robust knowledge of construction methods materials and legal regulations Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and quantity surveying software Excellent analytical numerical and negotiation skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines Experience 2-5 years for Junior Intermediate Quantity Surveyor 5 years for Senior Quantity Surveyor in major construction projects Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month
