Job Title Quantity Surveyor QS and Planning Manager Job Summary We re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor QS and Planning Engineer to join our civil contracting firm The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs quantities and schedules ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget Key Responsibilities - Quantity Surveying - Manage and control project costs including estimating tendering and contract administration - Prepare and review bills of quantities invoices and payment claims - Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential cost risks - Planning Engineering - Develop and manage project schedules including critical path analysis and progress monitoring - Identify and mitigate potential delays and schedule risks - Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure project timelines are met - Cost Control - Track and manage project costs including labor materials and plant - Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities - Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts - Contract Administration - Manage contract documentation including contract agreements variations and claims - Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions Requirements - Education - Degree in Civil Engineering with QS certification or any course - Experience - Minimum 9-12 years of experience in quantity surveying and planning engineering preferably in civil construction projects - Skills - Strong knowledge of construction contracts estimating and cost control - Excellent planning and scheduling skills including experience with planning software e g Primavera P6 MS Project - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities What We Offer - Competitive salary package - Opportunities for professional growth and development - Comprehensive advantages How to Apply If you re a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor QS and Planning Engineer looking for a new challenge please submit your application including your resume Job Type Full-time Pay 538 592 54 - 1 950 254 15 per year Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
