Job details Employment Type Full-Time Location Pune Maharashtra India Job Category Engineering Job Number WD30247117 What you will do Performance Testing of equipment and or products i e Water Cooled and Air-Cooled Chillers Collect and analyze the associated data make reports How you will do it 1 Carrying out performance testing of Air Cooled and Water-Cooled Chiller as per Production plan and priority Check and inspect all parameters of system output i e TR Capacity KW Amps Voltage IKW TR etc as per AHRI (phone hidden) AHRI (phone hidden) IS 16590-2023 Standard 2 Handle third party factory performance testing Inspection independently with customer making Log sheet and MOM testing report 3 Diagnose Electrical Mechanical Instrumentation defects during testing of Air cooled Water Cooled Chiller 4 Troubleshooting all types of chillers i e screw scroll centrifugal Very sound knowledge of Compressor overhauling and trouble shooting 5 Performs factory recommended annual maintenance inspections of Test Bed repairs leak tests and adds refrigerant gas to build up prescribed operating pressure on all systems Troubleshoot repair inspect and maintain HVAC systems maintain the operator workstation 6 Knowledge of mechanical electrical and refrigeration principals and electrical electronic DDC and pneumatic controls Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair installation and alteration of HVAC equipment components and wiring systems as needed 7 Regularly monitors for proper operation of pressures and temperatures records observations and acts to correct deficiencies Installs replacement parts according to OEM specifications and safety guidelines Responds to and performs emergency repairs as required 8 Performs factory recommended annual maintenance inspections to ascertain the condition of chillers and associated equipment as per manufacturer specifications and guidelines and makes recommendations for repairs as necessary to keep the equipment in valuable operating condition Actively Participate in New product Launching and Testing 9 Closely Monitor Test Bed Instrument Calibration Testing and Its record 10 Follow the integrity and ethics policies of company and complete all the certification and e-training modules related to ethics and integrity 11 Work closely with Plant EHS representative to conduct Test Bed safety audit to enhance safety measures during performance testing of the chillers 12 Supervise the complete process of installation and commissioning of Water Cooled and Air-Cooled Test Bed Area modifications 13 Arrangement of all the documentations from the stakeholders to submit to AHRI NABL for preliminary approval and AHRI NABL personnel witness at Test Stand 14 Timely calibration of instrumentations desired for AHRI NABL test stand certification requirement 15 Arrangement of Chiller Performance Test on AHRI NABL Test Bed as required by customer Witness Virtual Test 16 Develop skills to adopt new technology methodology for chiller testing 17 Enhance software skills Chiller Selection in York Works AEC What we look for Diploma OR Electrical Mechanical Engineer with min 5-6 years of experience
