Project Role Custom Software Engineer Project Role Description Develop custom software solutions to design code and enhance components across systems or applications Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs Must have skills Datadog Valuable to have skills Application Performance Management APM Architecture Minimum 3 year s of experience is required Educational Qualification 15 years full time education Summary Role Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive Datadog Engineer to support the consolidation of observability tooling into Datadog This role will be instrumental in implementing scalable standardized and automated monitoring solutions across a diverse infrastructure landscape enabling real-time insights and proactive incident management Must Have Skills - Datadog Product Expertise Infra APM Metric collection Ingestion Dashboard creation and optimization - Python Ansible Key Responsibilities o Design configure and maintain Datadog integrations across cloud on-prem and hybrid environments o Design configure and maintain Datadog dashboards and visualization layers o Develop and enforce dashboard alert logging SLO SLIs and naming tagging standards o Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to onboard services into Datadog o Support self-service onboarding and champion the Observability Champion Network for training and adoption o Work closely with AIOps architects SREs and delivery teams to align observability goals with business outcomes o Participate in deep-dive sessions to define KPIs golden signals and service-level objectives SLOs Required Skills o 3 years of experience with Datadog in enterprise environments o Strong understanding of observability principles including metrics logs traces and service dependencies o Experience with infrastructure automation tools e g Ansible Terraform o Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and container orchestration o Knowledge of ITSM tools e g ServiceNow and integration patterns Professional Attributes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Educational Qualification and Certification Graduate Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field Relevant certifications are a plus Additional Information - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Datadog - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15 years full time education is required 15 years full time education
