Job Overview Care Group of Institutions is seeking a Security Guard for a Full-Time position at its Tiruchirappalli campus This is a mid-level role requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in security or a related field The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a protected and secure environment for students faculty staff and visitors across the campus Qualifications and Skills Surveillance and patrolling skills Mandatory skill to monitor the premises and identify any suspicious behavior or security threats Incident response abilities to act swiftly and appropriately in emergencies or security breaches Time management skills to ensure scheduled patrols and timely response to incidents Campus safety awareness to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on campus Thorough understanding of security protocols and regulations to ensure compliance and effective enforcement Access control management to monitor entry and exit points and verify authorized personnel Report writing skills to document incidents observations and daily activities accurately Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with students staff and visitors ensuring clear and respectful communication Skills Surveillance Patrolling Emergency Incident Response Time Management Campus Safety Security Protocols Access Control Report Writing Communication Skills Roles and Responsibilities Monitor and patrol campus grounds regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe behavior Ensure all entry and exit points are secure and access is limited to authorized individuals Respond promptly to alarms disturbances or emergency situations and provide first-line response Maintain a visible and approachable presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to students and staff Conduct security checks on buildings classrooms and facilities to ensure proper locking and safety procedures are followed Report and document incidents observations or security breaches clearly and accurately Coordinate with campus administration and emergency services in case of serious incidents Ensure that the security post and surrounding areas are kept clean organized and ready for use Job Type Full time Pay 9 000 00 - 10 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
