Description 2 Job Purpose Senior Manager - Enterprise Architect is responsible to setup the vision for the future state technology supporting business growth capabilities It includes defining Digital architecture framework that supports the most productive and secure technology environment meeting both technology and business needs The role demands defining implementing and ensuring compliance to laid out digital architecture principles of Open banking API Microservices Cloud enablement This job also recommends most optimized architecture for all new and existing applications to maximize stable performance at right cost 4 Key Result Areas Accountable for the appropriateness of technology architecture solutions delivered to the technology teams of the bank Develop and present to Technology management on Innovations and influence decision making Provide a consensus based enterprise architecture roadmap that is scalable adaptable and fit for Mashreq architecture landscape Provide recommendations to the projects and applications on technical architecture and any deviations to be highlight To link business requirements and technology strategy architecture future models to be developed in an efficient sustainable agile and adaptable manner Provide application consolidation approach based on strategy architecture and business requirements Share best practices lessons learned and constantly update the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies and knowledge related to recent current and up-coming vendor products and solutions Establish and implement architecture guidelines framework for all change deliverables in Technology Focus on regulatory control audit requirements while developing architecture frameworks Architecture decisions have major impact on the application stability which in turn reflects revenue of the bank Promotion of shared infrastructure and applications to improve information inflows Provide recommendations to the projects and applications technical architecture and approve only if senior management approvals are obtained by application owners for any deviations Develop architecture designs and get approval from EADA forum 5 Operating Environment Framework and Boundaries and Relationships Member of the IT strategy policies projects and change control board for architectural delivery and IT initiatives Interacts with project stakeholders subject matter experts 3rd party representatives and senior management Build bridge between teams and technology solutions for common goal and delivery Adhere information controls and security frameworks procedures including change and incident management process Ability to provide cutting-edge solutions and influence senior management to take critical decisions by providing recommendations Manage and deliver all technology Initiatives by following all technology standards and procedures and also deliver business value with minimum cost and time lines Build bridge between teams and technology solutions for common goal and delivery Adhere information controls and security frameworks procedures 6 Problem Solving Recommend architectural solutions and changes to meeting IT and business requirements Recommend solutions to systems or process obstacles 7 Decision Making Authority and Responsibility Review and approval of technical architecture for new projects Review verification and provide approval for new projects before start of user testing production movement Technical inputs and recommendations for RFP and product selections Provide recommendation alternatives and verification for projects changes to align with current organization IT architecture Provide application consolidation recommendations Provide architectural review for BAU changes and releases Provide approval for changes tabled in the change control board 8 Knowledge Skills and Experience Excellent information systems understanding with ability to lead root cause analysis and closure Excellent knowledge in latest Digital technologies Excellent knowledge in Cloud native technologies DevOps Microservices Knowledge in ReactNative ReactJS Spring Boot PL SQL Java technologies Knowledge in the Business process management Document management Excellent knowledge in Open API RESTful services and SOAP Services Knowledge in the database management Open source and Kafka Knowledge in Data Lake AI ML and security TOGAF certification is added advantage Knowledge in Cloud Multi Cloud adoption Azure Cloud Ability to manage diverse teams drawing on different skills Knowledge of IT strategy and operations Comprehensive knowledge of hardware software application and systems engineering Business and technical experience in the financial services domain Excellent project management experience 10 years experience in the IT field and financial services Strong organisational and presentation capability Enable Skills-Based Hiring No
