Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire for In-House Perfumer Job Title In-House Perfumer Location Thane About the Role We are on a mission to make life smell wonderful fun fresh and fabulous - while staying true to a 100 vegan and cruelty-free philosophy Our fragrance-infused body care products are designed to bring joy to everyday self-care moments and we are now looking for a Perfumer to take our olfactory journey to the next level Role Overview As a Perfumer you will be the custodian of all things fragrance - from ideation to shelf This role blends creativity science and business acumen You ll create and refine fragrance concepts that delight consumers while ensuring supply chain robustness cost-effectiveness and performance excellence You will also act as a bridge between consumer insights technical partners and internal teams to ensure our fragrances continue to deliver a memorable customer experience Key Responsibilities Fragrance Creation Development Develop and adapt unique fragrances in line with brand DNA consumer preferences and regulatory requirements Partner with external fragrance houses while building in-house olfactive capability Trends Consumer Insights Continuously track global and local fragrance trends translating them into actionable product opportunities Lead fragrance benchmarking and consumer testing to ensure relevance and delight Technical Performance Inputs Ensure fragrances meet performance standards across product formats body mists shower gels lotions etc Collaborate with formulation packaging and R D teams to ensure stability and compatibility Supply Chain Cost Optimization Work closely with procurement to build robust diversified fragrance supply chains Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising quality or customer delight Regulatory Compliance Ensure all fragrance ingredients comply with IFRA and regional cosmetic regulations Maintain up-to-date documentation and safety assessments Cross-Functional Ownership Partner with marketing design and consumer research teams to translate fragrance ideas into winning launches Act as the fragrance voice across product development and customer communication Who We re Looking For Degree Diploma in Perfumery Cosmetic Science Chemistry or a related field Minimum of 4-8 years of hands-on experience in fragrance development either with a fragrance house or in-house with a consumer brand Candidates with higher experience can also apply Solid creative and technical fragrance evaluation skills Knowledge of raw materials fragrance formulation and regulatory frameworks e g IFRA EU BIS Ability to balance creativity with commercial sensibility Strong cross-functional collaboration communication and project management skills A nose for trends and a passion for creating fragrances that consumers fall in love with Why Join Us Take full ownership of the fragrance experience - from lab to consumer Opportunity to work in a collaborative creative and purpose-driven workplace where your work directly touches millions of lives
