on a great transformation journey - then apply today About The Role As a Senior Software Engineer in the Maersk Unified Asset Management team you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Maersk manages its technology assets across the globe We are building an API-first cloud- native platform to catalogue all technology assets integrating COTS platforms with custom microservices and rich user interfaces We re seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend UI skills who thrives on delivering robust scalable applications with rich user experiences You ll work across the stack but your deep expertise in frontend technologies will help set the direction for intuitive high-performance UI frameworks You will drive engineering across the team while mentoring junior developers and actively participating in architectural decisions and product evolution Key Responsibilities o Design and develop scalable full stack solutions with a focus on intuitive responsive and accessible frontends o Deliver high-quality maintainable code in both frontend and backend environments Java Spring Boot React Angular Vue Use React with modern CSS e g CSS Modules Tailwind or Styled Components to build responsive UIs Component structure hooks usage testing Jest React Testing Library o Ensure the frontend is PWA-compatible by implementing service workers manifest files and offline capabilities o Lead architectural discussions and ensure cohesive scalable integration between frontend and backend components o Mentor junior engineers conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices o Contribute to UI UX decisions in collaboration with designers and product managers o Define and enforce testing strategies including unit integration and end-to-end UI testing o Represent the Asset Management team at internal and external tech forums o Participate in hiring activities and help scale a high-performing engineering team Required Skills and Experience o 5 years of full stack development experience including strong frontend UI development expertise o Proficiency in Java Spring Boot for backend services o Expertise in one or more modern frontend frameworks - React js preferred Angular or Vue js o Solid understanding of HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript responsive design accessibility and browser compatibility o Experience in integrating APIs and building dynamic data-driven UI components o Proven experience in microservices architecture and event-driven systems Kafka or similar o Experience with modern CI CD pipelines and DevOps tools GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure DevOps o Robust understanding of cloud technologies Azure required AWS GCP a plus o Solid understanding of testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development Jest Cypress JUnit etc o Knowledge of modern architectural patterns like Domain Driven Design CQRS and Event Sourcing o Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams What We Value o Passion for user-centric design and engineering craftsmanship o A builder mindset -
