- Visa CounsellorPosition Overview The Visa Counsellor is responsible for generating walk-ins counselling candidates on visa and admission processes researching universities and ensuring smooth pre-visa and post-visa assistance The role also involves building institutional partnerships staying updated on immigration policies and organizing events to drive student engagement and recruitment Key Responsibilities Call and follow up with leads to generate walk-ins for counselling sessions Counsel candidates on the visa process admission requirements and country-specific opportunities Assist in pre-visa processes application filling documentation financials mock interviews and post-visa processes travel accommodation pre-departure briefings Research and identify the best universities for various programs across different countries Stay updated on immigration laws and visa policy changes from embassies consulates of respective countries Approach universities and institutions for vendor tie-ups and student recruitment partnerships Organise seminars webinars education fairs and pre-departure events to promote programs and build student trust Maintain detailed case files ensure accuracy in applications and provide timely updates to students parents Meet or exceed monthly quarterly student recruitment and visa approval targets Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree preferred Education International Relations Management or related fields Minimum 1-3 years of experience in overseas education counselling or immigration services Strong understanding of student visa processes for USA UK Canada Australia Europe and other destinations Excellent communication counselling and presentation skills Ability to conduct research on universities and immigration news independently Networking skills to establish and manage university vendor tie-ups Event management skills to plan and execute student engagement activities Proficiency in MS Office CRM tools and online research Job Type Full time Pay 11 745 00 - 36 481 41 per month Work Location In person
