Junior Lecturer - Chemistry Position Overview The Junior Lecturer in Chemistry is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate students fostering a solid foundation in chemical principles and supporting academic excellence through teaching mentoring and departmental activities Key Responsibilities Teaching Instruction Deliver lectures tutorials and practical sessions in Chemistry Organic Inorganic Physical Analytical Prepare lesson plans teaching materials and assessments aligned with curriculum standards Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure safety protocols are followed Student Support Guide and mentor students in academic and career development Evaluate student performance through assignments exams and lab work Provide remedial support for students needing extra help Academic Contribution Participate in curriculum development and academic planning Assist in organizing seminars workshops and departmental events Engage in continuous professional development and research activities Administrative Duties Maintain attendance records grade sheets and student progress reports Collaborate with colleagues on departmental tasks and committees Support accreditation and quality assurance processes Required Qualifications Master s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field M Sc Chemistry NET SET qualification preferred as per UGC norms Strong communication and presentation skills Familiarity with modern teaching tools and digital platforms Desired Skills Passion for teaching and mentoring young minds Ability to simplify complex concepts Team player with a collaborative mindset Research aptitude and willingness to contribute to academic publications Work Schedule Full-time position typically Monday to Saturday May include additional hours for lab supervision or academic events Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Work Location In person
