Position Associate Vice President AVP Finance Experience 8 10 years experience preferably in a Big 4 environment or primarily in an audit taxation role POSITION Title Associate Vice-President Finance Description The Associate Vice-President Finance will report to the Vice-President Finance The firm is looking for that rare leader The candidate should embody the following attributes manifest integrity a fiery intellect on-the-ground execution capability an aesthetic sensibility and a long-term orientation All this must come wrapped in abundant common sense It is expected that the candidate will have a keen understanding of what it takes to run an productive finance function be a strategic partner to the firm s existing leadership and develop into a senior leader of the firm Specifically the Associate Vice President Finance will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all finance functions within the firm Specific areas of competency include Financial Accounting Manage the firm s day to day accounting activities and ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and records Financial Reporting Lead audit coordination and ensure timeliness accuracy and usefulness of financial and management reporting to external stakeholders and the Board Financial Planning Oversee the development and monitoring of budgets annual and five year business plans Taxation Actively participate in and oversee the preparation computation review and filing of the firm s direct and indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions Treasury Coordinate cash investment and management of firm assets ensuring sufficient liquidity Team Leadership Lead and manage a team of finance professionals providing guidance mentorship and support for running the function Communication Monitor drafting and review of routine and non-routine business correspondence CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS The Associate Vice-President Finance will be a seasoned and mature leader with about 10 years of broad experience ideally beginning in finance or audit followed by experience gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership as well as experience in leading or managing small teams The candidate will have experience managing finance accounting budgeting control and reporting taxation and capital allocation for multiple entities The candidate and her his family must be comfortable and happy to be living and working in Chennai The Associate Vice-President Finance will have the following attributes and skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 90 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Besant Nagar Chennai Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
