Job description Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager - Quality to lead and manage the quality functions in our Smart Energy Meter production facility This role requires expertise in managing quality across SMT-PCB lines energy meter assembly IPQC pilot production and PDI processes The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership regulatory knowledge and a continuous improvement mindset to drive zero-defect manufacturing and customer satisfaction Key Responsibilities Lead IPQC operations for SMT lines PCB quality assurance and smart energy meter assembly processes Oversee Pilot Lot production for recent product validation ensuring alignment with product design regulatory norms and performance expectations Ensure Pre-Dispatch Inspection PDI protocols are adhered to and 100 compliant for all customer deliveries Develop implement and continuously improve Quality Systems in compliance with ISO IEC 17025 BIS NABL and other applicable standards Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits with regulatory bodies and customers Manage quality engineers technicians and cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis RCA CAPA and proactive defect prevention Use structured quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA SPC 5 Why Pareto Six Sigma for continuous improvement Track and report key quality metrics e g Cp Cpk DPPM First Pass Yield Rejection Field Return Rates Collaborate with design production and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure end-to-end product integrity Support IQC and supplier quality teams for SMT components PCBs and other critical parts inspection and approval Drive a Zero-Defect culture through team mentoring training programs and shop-floor engagement Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering Electronics Electrical Industrial or Quality Management Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in quality management within a manufacturing setup preferably in electronics or metering industry Proven leadership experience in managing production quality SMT IPQC Pilot and PDI In-depth knowledge of quality standards regulatory norms BIS ISO NABL and hands-on exposure to quality tools Certification in Quality Six Sigma Green Black Belt CQE or equivalent preferred Job Type Full-time Pay 100 000 00 - 125 000 00 per month Work Location In person
