will work to support projects with Original Equipment Manufacturers OEM and Engineering Contractors EPC in providing techno-commercial quotes for compressor gas panels according to specific customer requirements answer technical questions TQ attending technical bid evaluation meetings TBE and pre-order kick-off meetings Job Responsibilities Evaluate customer bid requirements specifications and other pertinent data and prepare techno-commercial offer for Compressor seal systems Interpret specifications and data sheets and key requirements from EPC and End User project specifications Understanding Process and Instrumentation Diagrams P IDs for Compressor Packages Understand requirements such as Inspection Piping Painting Quality Welding requirements for onshore and offshore packages Sizing DGS Systems and Equipment s such as Filter Control Valves Heater Booster Piping based on Compressor OEM RFQs and Specifications in collaboration with Engineering Cost Estimation of DGS Seals Systems by collaboration with Operations suppliers sub vendors Create maintain product standardizations including price lists based on compressor equipment Work with various stakeholders in scheduling and prioritizing jobs for the team and communicating the same to Sales Provide prompt acknowledgement and response to customer queries Selection and sizing of Heater Facilitate relationship between proposals team and all other departments required to effectively develop and deliver project proposals Proficiency in API 614 and API 692 requirements Support commercial activities signoff on customer commitments and pilot agreements Review the order to ensure compliance with Flowserve s original proposal and all agreed upon changes and make the clean accurate order transfer files to Operations Organizing Project hand-off s to Engineering Team Participation in company sponsored abroad training programs Job Requirements 6-8 years of engineering experience in operations of Chemical Process industry EPC Instrumentation maintenance Erection and commissioning Should be well versed in reading customer spec making Seal selections exceptions list etc Engineering and Process knowledge of Instrumentation Mechanical equipment Components such as Heater Filter Cooler valves Pipes Tubes etc Proficiency in Instrument sizing and selection pricing and response to TQs while handling Techno-commercial bid Process knowledge on selecting Control Valves and Regulators Knowledge on Electrical wiring and control circuits Expertise in preparing datasheets for Instruments and seal gas panel components Proficiency in making P ID s Experience Knowledge in gas compressors platform is an added advantage Bachelor s degree in Instrumentation Engineering with Process Petrochemical Power industry experience preferred OR Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Mechatronics with knowledge on instrumentation Broad technical skills with the ability to solve problems in several technical domains Excellent written and verbal communication presentation listening and facilitation skills Proven ability to manage projects in a multitasking environment and drive them to completion
