Job Summary Arieckal Industries is an engineering company engaged in developing and manufacturing of products We have been in business since 1983 and have been supplying our products to the Indian Navy and Indian Railways for the past 25 years Our office and factory is located in Panvel Industrial Cooperative Estate Panvel Navi Mumbai Currently we are a team of 14 engineers technicians and we are looking to expand this team further to meet our growth aspirations Arieckal Industries has designed and manufactured flood alarm systems for the Indian Navy and dome fittings valves for LPG rail tankers for the Indian Railways We now want to expand our product portfolio and are looking to build a strong design team who will help us put together a pipeline of high quality products for the coming five years We are looking for Mechanical Draughtsman with 0-2 years of work experience in Solidworks AutoCAD and Draft sight He She will report to the Senior Design Engineer He She will handle product development right from conceptualization to design to production to testing and delivering of final products The position therefore requires coordination with clients design team production team marketing team and suppliers Responsibilities and Duties 1 Interact with clients marketing team to understand the product requirements 2 With the assistance of the chief design engineer design the product using Solidworks and AutoCad 3 Coordinate with the Design department to finalize product design and Manufacturing Drawings 4 He she should have experience in using Microsoft Tools and other daily office activities Key Skills Proficient in design using Solidworks and AutoCad Positive communication Skills Should be able to communicate in English spoken and written Should take initiative Should be able to collaborate with teams in the organization Required Experience and Qualifications 1 ITI Diploma and any other equivalent certification course 2 Should have at least 0-2 years of work experience in drafting modeling of products on Solidworks and AutoCad 3 Should have previously executed product development projects right from conceptualization to design to manufacture testing and client approvals 4 Candidates staying in close proximity to PANVEL will be preferred Job Type Full-time Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Education Diploma Preferred Experience Mechanical design 2 years Preferred License Certification SOLIDWORKS CERTIFICATION Preferred Work Location In person
