Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ZTPF Programmer role based in Chennai. The ZTPF Programmer will design, develop, and maintain applications on IBM zTPF systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and adherence to technical and business requirements. Daily responsibilities include coding and debugging in relevant languages, modifying existing programs, analyzing system behavior, and participating in reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.





The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to migration, integration, and optimization initiatives on mainframe and related platforms. The programmer will also help document technical solutions, follow established development and testing standards, and support continuous improvements in tools and processes. Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong mainframe programming skills, ideally including TPF/zTPF, Assembler, zTPFDF C/C++, and experience with related tools.

Candidates should possess knowledge of databases and data management on enterprise platforms, such as DB2, VSAM, and structured data access techniques.

Candidates should possess skills in application development and maintenance, including analysis, coding, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Candidates should possess abilities in systems integration, global delivery collaboration, and working within structured project management and testing frameworks.
